This is it guys — we made it to the top! High and mighty sits the lighthouse throne at Cape Reinga…pretty much the northernmost spot in all of New Zealand.
You know you’ve reached the highest point when the country has literally run out of road. If Harold and I had driven any further, it’d be off kiwi land and straight into the turbulent water (look carefully and you can see two distinct shades of blue – this is the line where the Tasman Sea and the Pacific Ocean crash into one another).
