Botanic Gardens

With a name like “Garden City”, you’re bound to have certain high expectations! Indeed, we tested its claim to green-thumbed beauty and looked high and low for superior plant potence in the Christchurch Botanic Gardens.

Clearly standing the test of time, the Gardens continue to be a vibrant symbol of growth and renewal. Later on, we learned that “punting” over here means to propel a boat with a pole (not kick a football as hard as you can). A return trip to the Gardens ended up with a punt down the Avon River. Definitely more relaxing!

On a side note, Harold bought me something I’ve been eyeing and desperately coveting for some time. Although it’s not a real one (nor does it make up for our previous incident with some electric fencing), I suppose this cutie shall do for now.
